A couple of months ago, I lost an incredibly dear friend to metastatic breast cancer. A friend that taught me bravery, courage, and to stand up for yourself with whatever life throws at you. Sam was a role model for me both in my career and in my life. She was a style icon - she rocked the bald look. She was compassionate - always rooting for everyone else.  She was everything to so many of us, and now she's gone. It's up to us now, to keep fighting for this cause, and to do everything we can to prevent another life from being taken too early. We miss you Sammy.
