For Sam
In the end, we'll all become stories
In the end, we'll all become stories
This summer, the world lost an incredibly beautiful and courageous soul. Sam had been living with breast cancer since her diagnosis on her 24th birthday. After being declared cancer-free at 26, the cancer then spread to her lungs, bones, and brain.
In 2019, Sam combined her love of reading and advocacy, and founded Turning the Page on Cancer, which in two short years has raised over $55,000 for mBC research.
We will continue to fight - in memory of our dear friend and founder of TTPOC, Sam, and for the future of those living with Metastatic Breast Cancer (mBC).
I read and fundraise in honour of Sam:
- a fierce advocate for mBC research
- a voracious reader and fellow bibliophile
- a feisty and loyal friend
Please consider donating to this year's Turning the Page on Cancer fundraiser, joining our team, and participating in the all-day read-a-thon on Sunday, October 17th.
