Take part in a new tradition,
give Thanks to Nature!
The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) invites you to walk and spend time in nature on October 10, 2021 to give Thanks to Nature.
Give Thanks to Nature
Thanks to Nature is an opportunity to thank Nature for what it provides all year round, during Thanksgiving. What used to be a celebration of the earth's bounty at our table is still the perfect time to show our appreciation to Mother Nature.
Whether you want to take a break from your hectic urban life, have an adventure or take care of your health, any reason is a good reason to reconnect with the natural world and call to mind the importance of protecting our wilderness spaces and all they do for us.
A fundraising campaign for the protection of nature
Thanks to Nature is also the annual fundraising campaign of CPAWS Québec and CPAWS Ottawa Valley, to support the protection of biodiversity and wilderness. This year, help us reach our goal of $40,000!
How to participate?
1. Create a profile to raise funds for the protection of the environment
To give Thanks to Nature, create a profile on our donation platform and set your fundraising objective. You can also form a team or join an already existing team.
Then, start fundraising to help us preserve the beauty and value of our parks' natural and cultural heritage.
