2021 GOLF FORE KIDS' SAKE MARATHON CHALLENGE

Embrace the Challenge to Defend Potential!

Big Brothers Big Sisters connects youth with mentors who inspire their Little to explore and embrace their dreams, even when it is difficult. Today, many youth are struggling with issues of isolation and loneliness due to the impact of COVID-19. Now, more than ever, it is critical to raise funds to support youth mentoring.

Joe Holston (pictured left), Board Member with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region launched this challenge in 2020 by golfing 100 holes in a single day to support this critical mission! He raised over $50,000!

This year fellow Board Member, Brian Lorenz (pictured right), will join Joe for a BIGGER CHALLENGE! They will each complete 126 holes in a single day, with the goal of raising $80,000.

Joining them will be two sprinter (relay) teams that will complete 72 holes and make a bigger impact, together. The sprinter teams are by invitation only. Individuals interested in taking up a golf challenge are welcome to register HERE. It's easy to participate, simply schedule a tee time at your favorite golf course and start fundraising. Not a golfer but want to support the challenge? We invite you to contribute to another golfers' efforts!
